Associated with the trust since 2007, Mr. Mahajan led the liaisoning with the HP Government and CII to establish the Dharamshala Skill Center. A seasoned ICT consultant with 30+ years of experience, he has designed infrastructures for IKEA, Air-India, ISB Hyderabad, Mercer, Stryker, and MG Motors.

1972
Trust Establishment

Founded in loving memory of late Chief Justice of India, Dr. Mehr Chand Mahajan. Initiated financial assistance for poor widows and medical camps in rural areas.

2007
First Vocational Center Launched

Launched the first Computer and Skill Center in Bhadwar, Kangra, enabling girls to earn livelihoods. Concurrently launched the Milch Cow Donation (Gau Dan) initiative.

2018
Strategic Partnership with CII

Signed a landmark agreement with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to establish a state-of-the-art Multi-Skill Training Institute in Khaniyara, Dharamshala.

2019
Infrastructure Allotment

The Government of Himachal Pradesh provided initial building infrastructure to support the expanding multi-skill training center.

2020
Renovation & COVID Relief

Full-scale renovation of HP Government facilities completed. Donated 100+ oxygen cylinders to Kangra District Administration during the COVID-19 crisis.

2021
Inauguration & Full Operations

Multi-Skill Center became fully operational in February 2021, commencing industry-approved training in stitching, beauty, IT, electrical, and JCB operation.

Eye Check-Up Camps

Free medical eye camps with Vision Springs across Kangra, Bangalore, Jaipur, Ludhiana, and Kutch — screening 60,000+ beneficiaries and distributing customised spectacles free of charge.

Cataract Surgery Initiative

Providing Ayushman/Himcare health cards to underprivileged cataract patients and coordinating surgeries with leading local hospitals — restoring sight and independence.

Beti Ki Pathshala

Two street children schools in Delhi under the "Beti Ki Pathshala" initiative providing quality education to the most marginalised girls and children, run by Trustee Mrs. Anushree Mahajan.

Women Empowerment

Supporting underprivileged girls' marriages, distributing free SINGER machines to tailoring graduates, and running health & hygiene camps in schools and Anganwadi centers.

COVID-19 Pandemic Relief

At the height of the COVID crisis, the MCM Trust donated 100+ high-capacity oxygen cylinders directly to Kangra District Administration, saving lives in district hospitals.
